Stainless Steel Inserts for MiBowl Automatic Microchip Pet Feeder

Our cat likes this on top of the plastic insert. It seems easier to clean and he’s more likely to finish his food now. He has to complete with a perpetually hungry brother, this helps a ton.

2 cats use this feeder and they are each fed wet food 4x per day. I’ve been slowly stocking up on these bowls so I don’t have to hand wash them as often. I think I have 8 of the stainless steel and 7 plastic now? I hope this machine isn’t discontinued or the replacement model uses the same bowls so it’s not a huge waste. I have had these feeders for over 3 years and they’re still holding up.

Perfect fit and arrived quickly. It's nice to have two bowls so I can use one for wet food and one for dry and switch them out quickly and easily. Works just fine, but I wish there was an insert for the shallow dish as well.

Ordered a set of these inserts for our 2 MiBowls. One for a cat with obesity who needs low-cal food and one for an allergy cat with very expensive veterinary prescribed food. Did not initially realize that the stainless steel insert is made to go INSIDE of the original plastic insert rather than replace it. It makes the food easier for the cats to reach when eating (the insert is less deep), but makes it so I have to refill the inserts quite a bit more often. I was initially also planning on rotating using the plastic and stainless steel inserts, but after finding out that the steel insert is used with the plastic, will have to buy another set of the steel inserts. Ends up being a very expensive venture with 2 of the MiBowls and 2 sets of stainless steel inserts (about $500), but will hopefully keep the cats healthy.
